How to Harvest it. You just need to pick them from the ground! If you want, you can roast them in the oven; this will make the shells softer and, in turn, it will be easier to peel them. They will usually fall from mid-September up to the beginning of November.

How to Store it. You can place them in a hermetic container. If not, you can do some sauce or pesto with them and freeze it.

Scientifically known as Humulus lupulus. You will see this type of plant climbing along different hedgerows. You can eat the whole plant if you wish to do so. They are medicinal plants with many antioxidants (Knez Hrnčič, 2019).
